About Engineering


This is the opinion of Jose Miguel about engineering

1. could you please define Engineering in your own words?

Engineering is a profession that applies knowledge and experience in models and techniques that resolved problems affecting humanity. It utilizing natural laws and physical resources in order to design and implement materials, machines, devices, systems, and processes that realize a desired objective and meet specified criteria.

2. What influenced you to pursue Electronics engineering, industrial engineering, computer science engineering or informatics engineering?

I chose electronic engineering because I like technology and everything about it. I like thing about computers.

3. Could you please describe the educational process required to become an Engineer?

To be a good engineer, the person have to learn knowledge about different thing, for examples, works whit other person, mathematics, physics, research, design, and above all have creativity

4. What are the skills you need to be a good engineer?

Ability to analyze, interpret and evaluate data and develop ideas

Attention to detail

Ability to problem solve

Ability to conduct research, prepare and write reports

Mathematical reasoning skills

Able to work with others and independently


5. What job considerations were you looking for after you completed your education?

I look a good company in the technology area for example hp or something like that, above a good salary, good working environment, and social benefits.

6. What's something of your school life that you enjoy the most?

I like because I meet new friends, and we go out together

7. From your perspective, what is the most difficult part of being an engineering student?


That you have to study a lot a sometimes you can go out with your friends because you are study.

8. What are your plans for the future?

Have a good job and do a post-grade. I want to innovate in this area, create new solutions, bring some new ideas,

9. Why would you recommend Engineering as a career?

Because you learn many skills in different areas
